Our two ‘Vintage marquees’ have this name as these were the first marquees we discovered (at a village fete!) and how the whole business began.

They are two beautiful, original and very ‘shabby chic’ canvas marquees, complete with ‘distressed’ wooden poles, old hemp ropes and wooden ‘dollies’. They are 3.4m x 6.8m (approx 11′ x 22.5′). The perfect size to enhance your back garden! One has red poles and a frilly, beautifully frayed valance. The other has a straight valance and natural wooden poles. They can each seat about 30 at 6′ trestle tables.

The one with the red poles has a higher pitched roof than the one with natural poles. As these are our oldest and most ‘vintage’ marquees the canvases are very worn! So, although great for film work, due to their popularity for garden parties, we have had beautiful new canvases made for each marquee.

These two marquees have much claim to fame; The Durrells, Suffragettes, David Copperfield, Miss Selfridge, Cath Kidston, History Program, The Beast must Die, Fantastic Flintcrofts, and more.
